Duck is that wonderful dish that can go equally well with
either red or white wine. While pears lend themselves to white, walnuts, red
onions, maple and cranberries lend themselves quite well to a nice red. The
touch of honey finish on this Shiraz
balances together the creamyness of the goat cheese and the sweetness of the
maple dressing
